Ladies from all over wake county joined us for a beautiful afternoon on the grounds around the historical Ballentine-Spence House in downtown Fuquay-Varina.
The Ballentine-Spence House was built by J.D. Ballentine Esquire in 1910 for his beloved wife who sadly passed away during child birth. The house was first lived in by Dan and Mary Maude Spence in 1925.
Southern belles were enjoying delicious teas, tea sandwiches and some southern hospitality during the Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club garden party fundraiser on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Ladies won prizes for derby hats, Kate Middleton fascinators, most creative and fall beauty.
Door prizes, raffle prizes and auction items were won by almost everyone in attendance.
